Profile Description
This role is accountable to plan and oversee adherence to administrative processes, ensuring security and admin service level agreement (SLA) in the BSRM units located in Mirsharai.
Educational Qualification
Graduation in any discipline from any reputed public or private university.
Experience
Retired Defense Professional with 5–7 years of experience in the corporate sector, bringing strong leadership, discipline, and operational expertise.
Functional Activities
a) Define and monitor the SOP and service level of the administration in all the units of the group located in Mirsharai.
b) Plan and prepare the budget for the administration (Mirsharai), distribution within the areas and ensure adherence of all sub functions to the budget.
c) Drive the implementation of admin initiatives & programs as per service level agreement in the units.
d) Oversee the service level of - facilities services, facilities maintenance, stores, front desk management, security, transportation, liaison, IT, Travel etc.
e) Ensure a safe, secure, and well-maintained facility that meets environmental, health, and security standards.
f) Establish and maintain relationship with external vendors and service providers as required for satisfaction of internal customers.
g) Establish liaison with Govt. and local authority and stakeholders whenever required.
h) Monitor the effective canteen facility and guest house services for the guests and employees of the units as per SLA.
i) Oversee the food quality of the dormitory/ canteen/ pantry, facilitate inspection, effective vendor management and take corrective measures as required.
j) Oversee the security arrangements as per requirement and monitor the adherence to security policies and procedures of BSRM in the units.
k) Approve and monitor car pool service and transportation arrangement of the units.
l) Define and plan waste management of the units and monitor the implementation as per plan.
m) Report to Function – Administration (Corporate) regarding SLA and policy alignment for units in Mirsharai location.
n) Ensure compliance of the administrative tasks as per the approved checklist.
o) Conduct surprise visits to the units to identify potential administrative issues and take corrective actions as per SOP.
p) Draft and distribute statistical reports, analyses pertaining to administrative initiatives and services, and exhibits to company stakeholders and when required, to regulatory and government agencies.
Leadership, Talent and Culture Development
a) Attract and develop talent in the steel business.
b) Direct the process of effective department performance, overseeing performance management, recruitment, training and development of staff to ensure high level of engagement and motivated work environment.
c) Engage and mentor direct reports to prepare them for larger and higher roles with BSRM.
d) Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
e) Manage counselling and grievances of reportees.
f) Manage attendance and leave of reportees.
g) Ensure appropriate allocation of workload to reportees to enable work-life balance.
Coordination
a) Coordinate with all units and department heads to address and ensure smooth service delivery.
b) Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for timely services and getting priorities.
