Profile Description

This role is accountable for planning and monitoring the storing and management of raw materials and finished goods along with ensuring delivery as per defined process in the unit level for ensuring satisfaction of internal and external customer.

Educational Qualification

B.Sc in Engineering or Business Graduate from reputed public or private university. In addition, CACC will be considered as an added advantage.
 

Experience

10 years of relevant functional and people management experience preferably in manufacturing industries.

Functional Activities

• Ensure planning and monitoring inventory level of various store items & raw materials and highlight requisition to concern department.
• Prepare and implement distribution strategies and plan that specifies every element in the distribution process from the plant to how and when the inventory would reach the delivery location.
• Develop plans for the logistical details of all the distribution routes and activities and load plans for destinations.
• Monitor timely arrival of store items and raw materials to ensure on time availability.
• Monitor generation of required report of post inspection and GRN of procured items and timely dispatch to the concerned personnel at SCM.
• Monitor physical inventory of store items and raw materials periodically and submit reconcile report.
• Ensure availability of requisite manpower for departmental activities.
• Plan and monitor receipt & dispatch of store items and raw materials also monitor updatation of materials related data in MIS/Oracle/ERP.
• Preparation of financial budget and ensure adherence within target limit.  
• Monitor VAT Challan related activities by complying the relevant rules and regulations.
• Manage disposals of slags, pollution dust and other hazardous waste to various dumping site.
• Compliance to ISO - QMS and EMS requirements as per standard.
• Identify potential safety issues through hazard identification and suggests improvement areas and take preventive measures to reduce safety risk pertaining to legal provision.
