Profile Description
This role is accountable for executing day-to-day activities for regulatory permissions, authorization and other approvals to conduct business and also responsible for activities pertaining to maintain professional/industry relationship within the designated area.
Educational Qualification
Post-Graduation/Graduation in any discipline from any reputed public or private university.
MBA will be considered as an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 03 years of working experience in relevant functional field preferably in manufacturing industry.
Functional Activities
a) Keep a track on public and government policy at the local, regional, national, and global level (subject to government regulations) and prepare report to highlight accordingly.
b) Conduct regular communication to maintain liaison with concerned Govt., Semi Govt. and corporate organizations and with other concerned parties within the designated area.
c) Conduct the activities pertaining to obtain the various permissions from regulatory authorities on time as per the defined scope.
d) Maintain accuracy in record/documentations of corporate affairs initiatives and prepare report as required.
e) Draft any letter, briefings for corporate/public communication as required.
f) Interact with trade bodies, communicate organizational view and maintain mutual relationship as required.
g) Assist in organizing and Facilitating programs that promote the organization's image in a positive and community-oriented way.
h) Support Sub Function: Corporate Affairs to provide updates regarding status of license/approvals as required.
i) Draft key note speech for any meetings/conference pertaining to corporate affairs.
j) Attend in chambers, association meetings, industry forums, key industrial bodies, chapters and events and prepare meeting minutes and reports.
Leadership, Talent and Culture Development
a) Direct the process of effective department performance, overseeing performance management, recruitment, training and development of staff to ensure high level of engagement and motivated work environment.
b) Engage and mentor direct reports to prepare them for larger and higher roles with BSRM.
c) Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
d) Manage counselling and grievances of reportees.
e) Manage attendance and leave of reportees.
f) Ensure appropriate allocation of workload to reportees to enable work-life balance.
Coordination
a) Coordinate with concerned Govt. /Semi Govt. authorities to complete the formalities pertaining to the application required for sanctions/approvals.
b) Coordinate with Marketing Media Communication for any press release/communication on corporate affairs.
