Profile Description

This role is accountable for supporting workforce planning activities by collecting and analysing manpower data, reviewing process charts, validating primary & secondary data and collaborating with departments to ensure effective execution of workforce strategies.

Educational Qualification

Graduation / Post-Graduation in Business or Engineering from any reputed public or private university.

Experience

0-3 years of relevant functional experience preferably from manufacturing industry.

Functional Activities

  • Design dashboards, scorecards, and visual reports to support workforce insights.
  • Prepare and present workforce planning and manpower utilization reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to leadership team, aligning on talent acquisition strategies and recruitment plans.
  • Remain up to date on industry trends, emerging developments, and best practices, along with the latest technologies in workforce planning.
  • Facilitate workshops and review sessions with cross-functional teams to drive strategic alignment as advised by sub function: workforce planning.
  • Assist in conducting benchmarking exercises by collecting and comparing data across units/functions to support strategic planning and optimization.
  • Assist in implementation of approved manpower plans, follow up with departments, and track alignment with workforce deployment strategies.
  • Maintain and update workforce databases by tracking headcounts, vacancies and workforce movements to ensure data integrity.
  • Visits concerned locations to gather on-ground data for workforce assessments and capacity planning.
  • Assist to review workforce planning materials in response to organizational changes such as process automation, new projects, or restructuring initiatives.
  • Support initiatives to streamline forecasting, reporting, and staffing workflows through process improvements and automation.

Leadership, Talent and Culture Development

  • Direct the process of effective department performance, overseeing performance management, recruitment, training and development of staff to ensure high level of engagement and motivated work environment.
  • Engage and mentor direct reports to prepare them for larger and higher roles with BSRM.
  • Promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Manage counselling and grievances of reportees.
  • Manage attendance and leave of reportees.
  • Ensure appropriate allocation of workload to reportees to enable work-life balance.

Coordination

  • Coordinate with Talent acquisition team to support seamless integration of workforce plans.
  • Coordinate with unit /function to handle routine workforce planning inquiries.
